Gradings

Gradings available for kyu levels, shodan, nidan and sandan.

Eligibility and fees

To attend, you must be a member of one of the INF Member States. Must have approval from your Federation.

 

Those who wish to rent naginata may borrow one shiai and/or kata naginata free of charge; if damaged, will need to provide replacement value compensation. Availability is limited and will be confirmed after registration.

 

Lunch (snacks) will not be provided but attendees may bring their own lunch, or purchase lunch at the nearby shops and cafes.

Seminar fee: AUD$160 per person

Grading

Candidates must have approval from their federation to grade.
 

Kyu gradings under ANF requirements and are paid in $AUD with federation application. 
 

Dan gradings up to, and including, sandan under INF requirements and must be paid by individual participants in JPY. Grading fee will be collected at registration on the Friday/Saturday. Menjo fee collected on Sunday if candidate has passed.

Accommodation

The ANF recommends the Jazz Corner Hotel and Melbourne City Apartments. A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the seminar; details for reserving through the ANF are in the registration forms provided by the INF to your Federation.

Insurance

Each attendee is responsible for their insurance. If attending from overseas, travel insurance is highly recommended.
 
By registering for the event, attendees will be covered for injury and damages at the event ONLY, as either full or temporary ANF associate members.
